Chris Sutton revealed his prediction for Liverpool vs Chelsea Clash

Chris Sutton predicts Liverpool vs. Chelsea: “This is a dress rehearsal for the Carabao Cup final.”

Chris Sutton, a former striker for Chelsea, believes Wednesday night’s matchup between Chelsea and Liverpool at Anfield will be difficult.

Sutton, though, has chosen to go with a close Liverpool victory.

Sutton told BBC Sport, “For Liverpool, it’s a huge game.”

After [Jurgen] Klopp announced he was leaving the team at the conclusion of the season, Liverpool faces danger in this Carabao Cup final practice.

Chelsea is gradually improving and establishing some consistency as evidenced by their victories in their last three Premier League games.

“These two clubs have played in some fantastic games throughout the years, so I’m not really sure who will win this one.

Chelsea doesn’t have as much riding on this game considering their standing in the table, and if you ask their supporters, they would probably prefer to win the cup final than this match.

It’s still too early to tell what kind of performance Pochettino’s team will provide, but if they click, they can give Liverpool some serious difficulties. Despite this uncertainty, I still predict a narrow victory for Liverpool.

“Sutton projects a score of 2-1.”
