Chelsea reveals alternative as world-class striker rejects a move to Stamford Bridge

When the elite striker declines a transfer to Stamford Bridge, Chelsea offers an option.

The world-class striker Chelsea plans to replace turns down the opportunity to join Chelsea.

Karim Benzema’s choice to stay in the Saudi Pro League would undoubtedly disappoint Chelsea.

The 36-year-old, who arrived to Al-Ittihad last summer after leaving Real Madrid, was reportedly unsatisfied and looking to go.

It was thought that the Blues, who are supposedly in need of a new striker, were eager to take advantage of the circumstances and bring the forward to Stamford Bridge. However, after his representative, Karim Djaziri, stated that he will fulfil his contract with Al-Ittihad, that may no longer be the case.

Chelsea may now look to the Brazilian as an alternative after being connected to Roberto Firmino, a former Liverpool player.

Since October of last year, Firmino has not yet started a game for Al Ahli.
