Sanchez updates supporters as he gets closer to his Chelsea comeback.
After missing a significant amount of time due to injury, Robert Sanchez is getting closer to rejoining the Chelsea team.
The Spanish stopper suffered a knee injury during Chelsea’s 2-0 loss to Everton in the beginning of December. Since then, he has spent the last six weeks out.
But if the stopper’s most recent Instagram photo is any indication, his comeback isn’t that far off. Sanchez shared a picture of himself on the app with the message, “Almost there!”
Since his injury, Djordje Petrovic has filled in admirably for Sanchez in goal, so it’s difficult to predict what will happen to the former Brighton player when he rejoins Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
