Chelsea have to sign this wonderful striker if they miss out on Osimhen after release clause revelation

Victor Osimhen of Napoli appears to be very keen for Chelsea to get him to Stamford Bridge this season.

Chelsea is really interested in signing Victor Osimhen, but it won’t be easy.

The Evening Standard reports that he recently signed a new deal with a £112 million release clause.

Who else could Chelsea turn to if they refuse to pay that or, for whatever reason, miss out on Osimhen? Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig is the answer.

There is a release clause for Benjamin Sesko.

Philipp Hinze, a journalist for Sky Germany, recently disclosed on X that Sesko’s contract includes a €50 million (£43 million) release clause that kicks in this summer.

To be honest, considering the price and his potential, the 20-year-old might wind up being a great deal.

Sesko has only scored three goals in 15 games this season in the Bundesliga, which is not very impressive. He has, nevertheless, scored a few goals in the Champions League and been likened to Erling Haaland.

The Slovenian, who stands 6 feet 4 inches tall, is the height of a center-forward in the Premier League and still has plenty of time to grow into a more effective No. 9.

Chelsea’s top priority should still be Victor Osimhen.

Chelsea’s top summer transfer objective still has to be a more seasoned and accomplished striker like Osimhen.

Nicolas Jackson, 22, who has already displayed a lot of rawness this season, is already a member of the Blues. In addition to his goal total, he has a number of missed opportunities.

Nonetheless, Sesko doesn’t seem like the worst option if Chelsea is unable to sign an Ivan Toney or an Osimhen, for example.

Although Mauricio Pochettino would like someone with Osimhen’s experience, Sesko is a name that needs to be taken into consideration because the striker market is quite competitive.
