Finally, Pochettino explains why he gave Lewis Hall permission to join Newcastle.

Lewis Hall’s decision to sign with Newcastle United in the summer was made, according to Mauricio Pochettino, with the player’s best interests in mind.

After realizing he wouldn’t play much under Pochettino, Hall left Chelsea to play more regularly up north.

The 19-year-old was forced to leave because players like Marc Cucurella, Ben Chilwell, and Ian Maatsen were all playing in the same position, and Poch believes it was the right decision.

On Friday, the coach stated to reporters, “It was a player with the circumstances here, too many players in that position ahead of him.”

“The best course of action was chosen by the player and the team.

“It’s unfortunate that he can’t play, but I hope he can make a good life for himself there.”

Eddie Howe is fond of Hall, who has made a good adjustment to Newcastle. For the first time, the Blues academy product moved away from Chelsea during the summer. Newcastle has the option to purchase him for £28 million, but he left on a loan.
