Chelsea is not prepared to sign a player for €150 million in January; instead, the Blues anticipate signing him in the summer.
As reported by Fichajes via the Hard Tackle, Chelsea is not planning to pursue Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, 24, in January.
The Nigerian international has been strongly connected to the Blues, but it has now been reported that an offer for the striker won’t be made in January because of his €150 million price tag.
After extensively investing in new players last summer, coupled with Napoli’s reluctance to let go of its star striker in January, it is reportedly not possible for Chelsea to afford to sign Osimhen in January.
With just one year remaining on his Napoli contract, Osimhen, a Nigerian international, is expected to attract interest from Chelsea the following summer.
