The 25-year-old may be ready to feature this weekend, according to a recent post on his Instagram story. Romano gave an update on his circumstances while speaking on his YouTube channel.
After suffering an injury at the end of the preseason, Nkunku has not yet appeared in a game for Chelsea.
According to BBC Sport, he signed a £52 million contract to join the Blues from RB Leipzig.

The Italian journalist posted the following on his YouTube channel: “Chris Nkunku will not play this weekend for Chelsea because they will not take any chances with him. Chelsea’s philosophy is to be cautious and to wait.
