Christopher Nkunku is updated by Fabrizio Romano

Nkunku will not play against City on Sunday, according to Romano, as Chelsea does not want to take any chances with the French forward.

The Italian journalist posted the following on his YouTube channel: “Chris Nkunku will not play this weekend for Chelsea because they will not take any chances with him. Chelsea’s philosophy is to be cautious and to wait.

With Christopher Nkunku, they don’t want to take any chances because he’s an important player for the team, [Mauricio] Pochettino, and the present and future. They are all in the same location together. They think Nkunku will be crucial to Chelsea’s success both now and in the future.
