Leaving in January’: A £50 million player is now expected to leave Chelsea in the upcoming year. Roman Fabrizio

Trevoh Chalobah, a defender for Chelsea, will leave Stamford Bridge in January.

That is what Fabrizio Romano claims.

The Italian journalist, who was speaking on his YouTube channel, said that Trevoh Chalobah will leave Chelsea during the upcoming transfer window and would not completely rule out Bayern Munich making another attempt to get him.

According to Sky Sports, Bayern was in negotiations with Chelsea to sign the 24-year-old midfielder in the summer for £50 million, but he ultimately chose to stay at Stamford Bridge.

Despite being injured, Chalobah has yet to appear in a game for the Blues this year.

 Chalobah’s stats for Chelsea

Chalobah has made 63 appearances for Chelsea overall and has scored four goals, despite not having played for the team yet this season.

The center-back has won the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup since becoming the Blues’ starting lineup.

The manager at the time was Thomas Tuchel, and it is obvious that the German adores Chalobah as a player.

We believe that Chalobah would benefit much from moving to Bayern next year, especially given that he has so much competition at Chelsea.

There, he would get the chance to work with Tuchel once more, a renowned coach who appears to value him, and maybe obtain additional playing opportunities.

It is difficult to envision Chalobah becoming a regular starter whenever he returns from injury given that Mauricio Pochettino has choices like Thiago Silva, Axel Disasi, and Benoit Badiashile as center-backs.
