At his Friday pre-game press conference, Chelsea’s boss praised the gifted striker’s potential.
On Monday night, Chelsea easily defeated Fulham 2-0 thanks to Broja’s quick play and goal. After over a year, he finally scored a goal.
“Yes, I think we know now for three months when you start to work here and before,” Pochettino remarked. In a training session, you start to sense the player and can see their potential.
I believe Broja has incredible potential. The focus right now is on his recovery from the injury and extended absence. Because of his great talent and our confidence in him, he played against Fulham and may do so again tomorrow.
He needs some time to feel finished right now. If not in his body, at least in his head. Your thinking is occasionally affected by it. He is working extremely hard, is in a great mood, and I hope he can get better over the next few weeks and become a player we can really rely on.
