Chelsea player ratings as Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson score and Raheem Sterling emerges as a hero

With a victory over Burnley shortly before the international break, Chelsea extended their winning streak courtesy to goals from Raheem Sterling, Cole Palmer, Nicolas Jackson, and an own goal. When Burnley scored on Wilson Odobert’s goal, the game didn’t start well for Chelsea since the entire defensive line was having trouble. This derailed the momentum Chelsea had been gaining.

Sterling was a constant threat for Chelsea despite his inconsistent finishing, which at times made their offensive play maddening. Before the half, he was instrumental in the goal that was scored when Ameen Al-Dakhil’s cross was deflected into the goal.
