“We could have beaten Chelsea with four or five goals,”
Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup match between Brighton and Chelsea ended in a 1-0 victory for Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi feels his team was entitled to five goals against Chelsea.
De Zerbi stated, “Even on Wednesday night [against Chelsea], we had four or five clear opportunities to score. I recall Joao Pedro and Ansu Fati going man to man with the goalkeeper.
“Solly March has another huge opportunity in the second half. Joao Pedro once again in the second half. And Estupinan engaged the keeper in man-to-man combat.
“Five chances, I told you! also in the Premier League. The same applies. More goals might be scored by us.
