On Wednesday against Manchester City, two Chelsea players might make their competitive starts.

According to the Evening Standard, Chelsea’s young players Omari Hutchinson and Bashir Humphreys could earn their first-team debuts on Wednesday against Manchester City in the Carabao Cup.

Both players have trained with Graham Potter’s club this week, along with midfielder Lewis Hall, who made his first-team debut last year.

The trio was not present for Chelsea’s Under-21 team during their 3-0 victory over Tottenham on Tuesday, and they are still awaiting word on their inclusion in the team that will go to Manchester.

After consecutive losses to Arsenal and Brighton, Potter announced he will make changes to his starting lineup. Kalidou Koulibaly, Christian Pulisic, Mateo Kovacic, Conor Gallagher, and Armando Broja are all vying for starts.
