REPORT: Todd Boehly in contact to sign Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham ahead of competitions
To get a jump on the competition in the summer, Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly made contact to sign Jude Bellingham from Dortmund.
The new Blues owners appear to be dead serious in signing Bellingham this summer and are willing to go to any lengths to do so.
The Metro cites BILD as saying that part of this include speaking with Bellingham’s father and agent regarding the transfer to Stamford Bridge.
One of the four’serious’ candidates for Bellingham, along with Manchester City, Liverpool, and Real Madrid, is Chelsea.
Additionally, it has been suggested that Chelsea would be open to matching Dortmund’s astounding asking price for Bellingham if it means they can get him to west London in the summer.
Obviously, Blues fans have heard this story before with Erling Haaland and won’t be overly enthusiastic just yet, even though it would be a significant victory for Chelsea.
