Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang reveals what Lacazette told him after his summer transfer to Chelsea

Alexandre Lacazette’s response to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s transfer to Chelsea, according to the former Arsenal teammate, has been disclosed.

On the final day of the summer transfer window, former Arsenal captain Aubameyang transferred from Barcelona to Chelsea for £10 million.

After leaving Arsenal in February, Aubameyang made 24 games for Barcelona and scored 13 goals, but he was released due to the Spanish club’s severe financial circumstances.

After departing Arsenal in disgrace, the Gabon striker believed he still had “unfinished business” in the Premier League.

Aubameyang scored 92 goals in 163 games with the Gunners, but Mikel Arteta relieved him of the captaincy before the club approved his transfer.

The news that Aubameyang had joined Arsenal’s London rivals Chelsea upset Lacazette, who was one of Aubameyang’s closest pals at the Emirates Stadium.

According to Aubameyang, Lacazette was the first member of the Arsenal team to get in touch with him about moving to Stamford Bridge.

When asked if the remark was intended to wish him well in west London, Aubameyang responded, “Nah, no!

Even earlier, when he first learned about the rumors, he exclaimed, “What, no, really?!”

Aubameyang said to BBC’s MOTDx: “If I had to pick one, I think it’s Lacazette for sure.” Lacazette was also mentioned by Aubameyang as one of the main “influences” in his career. He greatly aided me during some difficult moments.
