Matt Law gives Recce James injury update
Recce James averted serious knee damage in the AC Milan encounter, according to Matt Law of The Telegraph.
After 60 minutes on the field in Italy, it was obvious the right-back could not continue and he was replaced.
Chelsea is now optimistic that his injury is not significant. The severity of the problems, however, has not yet been confirmed.
James has made a name for himself as one of the top players in Europe at his position and a club captain, so a major injury would have been devastating for Chelsea and England.
