However, Gallagher’s performance throughout the game left Chelsea supporters speechless. They praised him for his excellent work ethic as the midfielder made significant progress.
He made five tackles, two interceptions, and two clearances in addition to providing three crucial passes.
Many likened him to N’Golo Kante and he increased his intensity. Others believed that Thomas Tuchel, the player’s former manager, was correct to compare the player to Kante.
Gallagher was key for the Blues last weekend as well. After being added as a late substitution, he scored an incredible winner against Crystal Palace as the west London team prevailed 2-1.
